Six Apart Milestones

Lots of news today regarding Six Apart and Movable Type. Starting with the announcement that they've hired on Anil Dash as VP of Business Development. They're going to launch a weblog service called TypePad. And they've secured some cash for their work.

I should have just said go read this. But I felt this warranted something more than a simple sideblog link.

Congratulations all around to Ben and Mena and to Anil who has (at last) found a job. Or perhaps it found him. Not sure.

So does this mean Anil Dash will use Movable Type for his weblog now?

Umm. He's been using MT since July 2002.

No evidence of that on his pages -- like, no link to MT or the MT logo or even MT credit -- at least not as of 4/23.

As of November of 2002, he had a little MT logo graphic that he since removed to simplify his site.
