We need a word for this...
Alright -- like it or not, when you write for a web log, you're BLOGGING.
Fine. Now that we've settled that, what do you call it when you're reading a weblog or blog surfing? Would that be "blurfing"? Or how about "slogging"? Actually I this one is pretty applicable considering some of the blogs out there (no, I'm not referring to yours). I don't think either "bleading" or "breading" will work -- they're just too phonetically misleading.
If you have any suggestions, please share.
No. I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with you, my friend. I don't have a weblog. I just basically note what's going on the web, and write down my thoughts, y'know? Just log.. it.. dow...
Screw it, I'm going back to work! :0)
I'm a big fan of "blurfing". "Slogging" sounds too much like hard work. Mind you, "blurfing" sounds like something you do after you've had WAY too much to drink :-)
There was "Blog Hopping" there for awhile, but that was mainly because of Blog Snob... Lets go with blurfing!
i like "blurfing", too!
i fondly refer to my blog buddies as "bluddies"...
;-)
Hmmm. How about blopping? :-) Short for blog hopping. It rolls off the tongue, no? And blopping and blogging!
Ulp. I think I had too much meds today.
Blurking has always been my favorite neoblogism (however, I have just coined neoblogism, so it may rise in the ranks...)
Blurking means reading a blog without commenting, contacting the author, or blogging about it. It is commonly used in the negative.

I just had to make a comment. I think the Battle of Balaklava was a hideous mistake. Back to the blurking...
