Google Adwords postmortem

Taking a look at the results of my Google campaign now that it's over. Read on for the details.

Here are the results of the campaign:

I was suprised to find that the keyword 'choate' had such a low click-through rate. Well, they were all pretty low, but I still feel I got my money's worth. At the end of the campaign, the ad cost less than $20, including the $5 activation fee.

In short, 23,559 impressions (times my ad was shown) and 204 click-throughs later, the ad is retired.

Overall, I highly recommend the Google Adwords Select program. It gives you ultimate control over your budget, the ad content and keywords your ad is associated with. It's affordable for anyone or any business and it helps to support financially a great product that I use everyday (namely Google).
