Ultrafast wireless technology set to lift off. Everyone should thank me for committing to buying into 802.11b, today's common wireless solution. Now that I've bought it, another standard can now take it's place, faster than ever. UWB (Ultra-wideband) is reportedly going to start at 100Mbit at up to 150 feet. But the technology is capable of supporting a range of several miles at even higher transmission rates.
