Pikmin is a beautiful and original title from Nintendo. Your task is help Captain Olimar who crash landed on a strange planet. His ship is in need of repair and you have to put it back together. The parts are strewn all over the planet and you’ll need some assistance to get everything done in time (the game has a built-in time limit of 30 days before Olimar’s life support system fails).

You discover some strange creatures called “Pikmin” that you can command to get everything done. You can control up to 100 of these little guys. There are 3 different kinds of Pikmin too— each has differing abilities. But take care— there are other creatures on the planet that aren’t very friendly to the Pikmin.

This title comes from the mind of Shigeru Miyamoto— the guy that gave us Donkey Kong, the Zelda series not to mention Mario Bros. He said it came to him in a dream while he was sleeping in his garden.
