Pink Eye
Seth and Arwen both have had pink eye. I noticed their mucky eyes at the same time. They both run from me when they see the eye drops or if they hear me say “medicine”. When I first explained it to Seth he said very sadly, “My eyes are blue. Now they pink.” He was very brave for Daddy. Daddy doesn’t like to pin him down, unlike impatient Mama who wants to get it over with. Brad explained to Seth how much he needed the drops, so Seth eventually looked up at the smoke alarm and let Brad drop it in. He was very proud of himself; when Brad said he should be that good next time because Mama would put his drops in tomorrow, Seth said, “Yaaaayy!” This happened smoothly twice, for Daddy, that is. Even Arwen will try, in the middle of the struggle, to stop squirming and keep her head still, I think, in order to get it over with. Smart girl. Brave boy.
