It’s hard to believe that Seth used to go #2 on the potty without our asking. He did, for about 2 weeks. Then he hit the toddler phase of wanting to “be like a baby.” I have cut back on indulging him that baby privilege, assuming that’s the cause of his regression. Pull ups get expensive!
Savannah will be out of summer school a week from today. This will free up our mornings for more diligent potty training. Being in a hurry, i don’t like to make him potty. It’s easier to change his pull up in front of a Clifford cartoon. I’m gong online for potty training information to get psyched up again. Reading helps remind me, rededicate me to the task, like getting them to sleep through the night.
Brad suggested a treat. I had been thinking about a reward system also. So today we got some cookies, just for potty training. Number 1 in the potty gets him one cookie. Number 2 gets him 2 cookies! I’m convinced that’s how the expressions #1 and #2 got started.
