He loves his new robot. It looks like Robocop. To me it looks like it might be scary to a two year old, all black and white. But he hugs it close to carry it around because it’s kind of large. Although he doesn’t know all the buttons, he uses the remote control. We thought the robot would go nicely alongside the talking Dora doll passed down to him from Savannah.
Savannah loves “Once Upon a Time” stories. She asks for them at all times of the day, prompting me to set a story time at Seth’s nap or their bedtime. So now she’s asking Seth to “Tell me a story.” He says, “OK. One time, time ago…” Meaning Once upon a time, a long time ago. He goes on to tell a story we can’t understand with all the inflection of storytelling. Once, Savannah, who doesn’t understand his story either, said, “And there was a chicken?” He nods, “Yeah, kicken.”
