Loving

I was just telling a friend on Wednesday how loving Seth is. If he sees me and Brad hugging or me and Savannah hugging, he wants to get right in on it. I told her he didn't act jealous at all, just wanted to join in.

The very next day, he saw me hug Savannah and, fussing, tried to get to me. In his baby way, he tried pushing her aside. A few times today I sat beside her at the computer to play a game with her and every time he came to me in a fit. I gave in each time, because he's the baby and because Savannah is not possessive.

Still, he's very loving with everyone, attached to each of us. I told him yesterday to go hug Savannah, and he gladly did. He gives Brad a goodnight kiss, for some reason, by touching his temple to Brad's face. He is a pro at blowing kisses with a smack right on the hand, and just this morning, Brad said good bye from downstairs, and Seth made a smacking noise with his lips.

New discoveries

On the plane ride down South, Brad reached for some of Seth's trash. Seth pulled it away and shook his head no. Another day, Brad asked him if something he was eating was good. Seth nodded his head. He did that for my mother too.

While we were away in Arkansas, Seth learned to drink from a straw.

He started doing peek-a-boo himself. Holding his hands up and waiting to hear, "Where's Seffie?" He's become a real ham now too, just like big sister, showing off and acting silly with peek-a-boo in his high chair for Daddy and Amee (Grandma).

He did not always feel good on our trip, coughing with a runny nose, only wanting me, not going to family members until the last couple of days. Finally they got to see how happy and playful he is even when he's playing solo.
