He's talking!
This past week, Seth has added "ba ba ba ba ba ba" to his vocabulary instead of just "ma ma ma ma ma ma."

This past week, Seth has added "ba ba ba ba ba ba" to his vocabulary instead of just "ma ma ma ma ma ma."
Seth has tried to pull up. He tried his best to see inside their big toy basket. I'm sure he could see all the colorful toys peeking up from the top, beckoning for him to start digging.
Savannah does not like for Seth to get into her toys. That's probably why it's such a cute thrill to see him happily rummaging through her doctor's kit right behind her back while she's watching Calliou : )
Seth has two teeth poking up. He grabs onto his spoon with each bit, so we have to pull hard to get it back.
He loves Savannah's old blocks and puts his mouth on them just as she did. Fortunately for him, most of the paint came off in her mouth.
He still makes a vocal sound while rolling his lips. But his sound is cuter than an adult's sound, cause his lips are so little.
It feels impossible not to compare my experience with the second child with that of the first. Savannah was at least a year, maybe 15 months the first time she really squealed loudly. Seth already loves to scream, quite a happy thing for him. Especially interesting in restaurants. It loses its cuteness pretty fast, esp. when they both get going.
Seffie made it out the tv room door for the first time today.
Seth discovered the television volume this afternoon. I dragged him away from it several times, covering the knobs up with Savannah's large turtle pillow. It didn't work at all. I finally just kept the remote ready in my hand, turning it up and down accordingly as he played with the knob.
Guess who's cutting a tooth?
Seth is "crawling" so to speak. That is, he can get around without necessarily rolling over. He scoots, moving his knees back and forth in the crawling motion, sometimes pulling his legs around toward a destination and rotating himself.
He has a cute, compact little body. Not a lot of fat. He sits up, forgetting where he is, or else I'm supporting him too much, then pitches himself over.
Happy as ever. Although a couple of days ago, I was wondering where my sweet wittuw guy was. He had the stomach bug that Savannah had. He wanted me to hold him a lot. Unfortunately, I wasn't allowed to sit down. Every time he felt my legs bend, he got pretty upset. It's my guess that swaying and walking resembles the womb so much, and it's not yet time to give that up. After all, he still hasn't been outside as long as he was inside.
