No joke
Seth's cry noticably changed about 2 weeks ago. He doesn't do it very often, special occasions I suppose. His mouth closes and gets really long from cheek to cheek. It is a low, mournful cry and while he's crying says, "Ma-ma."

He's discovered his sister is a great source of amusement, it seems overnight. As she was hopping big leaps toward him today, he started really laughing. Later she made him laugh with her funny faces. Tonight before bed, her cute floppy jumping jacks got him going. We'll have fun tomorrow, and it'll really help in public when I can't get him calmed down.
I found him crying in his crib in the dark hours this morning. I could tell from the stair light that he had rolled over, back to stomach! for the first time.
I said Seth would be a thumb sucker. Well, he's found his actual thumb - as opposed to his fist. It's sooo cute, cause his thumb is so little, and he smack smack smacks.
We tried the pacifier cause he was just drooling so much and soaking his shirt. He spat it out just like his sister did. The drooling's not as bad as it was. At least we don't have to keep up with his thumb.
Lying on his belly last night, he rolled over, onto his back, for the first time.

I get Seth to laugh by lightly tickling his lower back and hips. When I let him see himself in the mirror, he opens his mouth big, wobbles his head around and pulls his legs up. He doesn't laugh, but he's beside himself.
He loves it when I kiss his cheeks. Lay him on his back and go back and forth. He opens his mouth as if he wants to nurse, but he knows that I'm playing a game. Sometimes, when his mouth is wide open like that, he'll start talking, "Aaaahhhh," and sometimes really loud.
When he's lying on his back like that, I also let my hair rub the sides of his face, and I can tell it kinda tickles. It makes him smile and close his eyes. We saw Savannah doing it too last night. We tell her she's a good big sister.
Three nights ago, Seth slept for 9 hours! Last night, 9 hours and counting.
