I call him "wittuw ga-iy" (little guy). Brad calls him "spud". Savannah calls him Sef and Seffie.
After hearing me say it once, Savannah started saying, "I'm here." to Seth when he was crying.
When he spits up on me or cries as soon as I need to get something done I say, "Aw, son."
I think he may be a thumbsucker, if he could only find it.
On Saturday, we celebrated the birth day of his new buddy Mason. Their little girl buddy, Allyson, was there also. We even got a picture (post it when I get a copy) all sitting in their carseats ready to head out the door. They don't complain like the bigger ones do when it's time to leave.
When Seth is sleeping, he looks just like Savannah did at that age. When he's awake, he looks very different. She was rounder, softer in the face. He has a boy's nose, a boy's mouth, a boy's face.
He's very happy, lights up when he sees us from a greater distance than he used to.
For more than a week, I have occasionally found Seth turned a few degrees from the way I layed him down or the covers kicked off. He sometimes goes to sleep on his own, sometimes wants to nurse to sleep. Since I gave up cow's milk, his gas has become much less painful. Very pleasant baby.
Sleeping through the night, 7 to 8 hours.
