My big 6 year old

Savannah is already a six year old in my mind. A friend mentioned something about a 5 year old they knew the other day, and that sounded young to me. I have a six year old now, right? We are planning her Dora the Explorer party for August 13th. We talk about her starting 1st grade August 29th. Savannah likes to keep up with the count down. She will be a Brownie/Girl Scout, just as I was at that age, and she asked while watching a commercial today to go to Kohl's because they have all the girl's school fashions. I agreed that might be a good idea and we would look through her clothes in a couple of weeks to see what still fits. That will help us decide what she needs to start school. I am looking forward to ordering her brownie uniform. I remember really liking all the patches and pins. I still have mine.
