Easter

We had a fun little Easter egg hunt in the playground of our church yard. Some of the eggs were in plain sight because there were some 2 and 3 year olds. Then we had lunch with some friends and they had another Easter egg hunt. These eggs were hidden better because they had rocks and potted plants and such. Then for dinner we dyed eggs and Savannah and Seth took turns hiding them in the tv room so the other could find them. Arwen watched from my hip. I almost didn't do the egg dying at home, it being a long day and close to bed time. But this is the first year we've done an egg thing, sans the Easter bunny. I'm glad we did it. Anymore, the eggs are plastic with candy or a key chain inside, which is fine. When I grew up we used real eggs with a few plastic with candy or empty plastic eggs turned in for a money reward . More importantly, their Bible classes talked about Christ's resurrection and we talked about it with Savannah a couple of times. She hasn't asked what the eggs had to do with the resurrection.
