Freeze game

When we're driving, especially through town, Savannah has a game she created her self. It's called the Freeze game. When she says someone's name in the van, usually, Mama, that person must stop talking (or singing). Only when Savannah sees the letter M, or the letter G for Georgia, can I start talking again. Then it's my turn, I say, "Savannah," and she has to stop talking.

If she catches me talking she says, "Quiet, you." Just in case you're wondering, this is not an expression she got from us. She has picked up a few expressions like that.

Update

Savannah got her yearly trip to the fair. I stayed home with Seth and Arwen, so Brad took her on all the kiddie rides, then to Uno's for pizza. The camera had no batteries, so no pictures, but a few days ago, I got some really cute video of her rendition of "The wolf who cried bay." (boy)

She has a friend staying the night, her first sleepover here at the house. She was overwhelmed and tired by the time we tucked her in.

She is coming out of a week of sickness: fever, stomach pain, and vomiting. Tuesday she had a Lyme bulls eye, so she's on an antibiotic. I think tomorrow we'll stay in and rest, maybe play on the deck. Her friend is staying for several days while her parents are out of town, so there's plenty of time for fun.
