Valentine's Day cards
A fond memory of mine is getting a box of Valentine's cards, going through them and deciding which friend got which card. They were always full of red hearts with variations of "Be my Valentine" on them.
I picked up a box at Wal-Mart yesterday for Savannah. It was full of kittens and puppies. I filled out the names, and we folded them. She sealed them with a heart sticker. I didn't realize that they were very small cards. All I saw there were cheap ones, and I'm disappointed that they aren't more impressive. I don't want her to see a lot of big, beautiful cards from all the other students. I'm hoping other mothers went to Wal-Mart at the last minute.
Yesterday after we put the cards together she said, "Thank you, Mama, for getting me these cards." It was nice because it was sincere and not a thank you she had to think about.
