Tombstones

Driving past a cemetery a couple of months ago, Savannah said she didn't want to turn in to that. I told her that when people die, they do not turn in to tombstones. I had already explained to her that a soul is what feels love and anger and all that. Our bodies go underground when we die. Our souls go to be with God.

She was still not comfortable with the whole idea, and wondered if everybody has to go to a cemetery. I told her no, not everyone goes there, although it's way too soon to discuss cremation. I left it at that. So much to process.
