Playing outside

This winter she has played outside more than other winters. She's sleeping good too. After preschool, the children like to play tag in the schoolyard while the parents chat. "Catch me. Catch me." It's cute. Seth tries too.

I stepped outside with her today for the first time in a long while. Seth was napping, so I took the opportunity to get some fresh air and enjoy her outside. She has been playing outside this winter very happily by herself. I don't know that I helped things. She wanted me to do things that I'm not up to, like climbing up on, or under, her kiddie slide and playing tag :) I felt like I was telling her no a lot. Mamas can't do that with a big belly and so on. So I'll just let her play outside happily by herself for a while longer.

Spring is muddy, so I'll wait to take Seth out. Last summer he couldn't walk. This will be a fun summer for them both. More than two years ago I watched her playing outside with only me as her playmate and thought she needed a friend her age. It took me a while, but she'll have one this summer!
