I dreamed last night again about Savannah starting school. Only in this one, it was preschool, and I could never seem to get her there on time. I had a lot of trouble finding the right clothes for her. I dressed her out of what is actually Seth's closet which was originally hers. The clothes I didn't recognize. I seem to remember some science fiction/running from bad guys theme in it too.
Savannah's been spelling and writing her name for a while now. But today (at least for the first time we've noticed), she's written her name on the computer. She's been using the 'doodle pad' at Noggin.com. So what you see here is a basic landscape that she's been painting on. The letters are a little strewn about, but you can clearly make out each of them.
I told Savannah recently that Amie and Grandaddy were in India and that it was far away. Well, guess who wants to go to India?
Then I said she'll have to be bigger before she goes, so she thinks she gets to go once she's four.
I dreamed Savannah was supposed to go to school. She was 5! But I couldn't remember to take her. Three o'clock would roll around, and I'd remember, "I forgot to take her to school today!"
In the dream I rehearsed what I'd say to the teacher, "I hope you don't think I'm flighty. I just forgot." I decided in the dream that since she'd been with me for so long at home that I subconsciously didn't want her to go off. I sat in a school meeting and everything seemed sooo different than when I went to school.
I dreamed it cause it's really not that far off.
