Out sick, watching the kiddies play
Can I just use this as a forum to sing their praises? Why is it so unbearably cute to watch your almost 2 year old dragging her favorite blanket? She’s been dragging it through the house with her teddy bear backpack on top of her pink pjs.
Then there’s Seth, incredibly talkative today, telling me all about Sonic Heroes, the red guy, the blue guy and maybe a yellow guy. The way he’s telling it, it’s obviously very important to him.
Arwen has moved on to pushing the automated voice on our answering machine. “No messages,” he says. She thinks this is hysterical. She’s also blowing zurberts on the arm of the leather chair.
I have to point out that I’ve been sick for a couple of days. Brad is home today because I’ve been aching all over. Motrin really helps, but I have to remind myself not to pick up my children’s tornado. I’ll just feel worse tonight if I move around. Anyway, the kiddies are always more endearing when I’ve been sick :) Perhaps I should sit down more often.
