When Seth is rough and pushy, she may scream and she may go at him with her teeth. Sometimes she grabs skin and pinches. She has started to pinch just for fun. Perhaps it's preemptive. She has never bitten me, but she has pinched me. When I correct her which I always do, she laughs.
She is repeating several consonants and vowels. I can't keep up. Seth was jumping through the house yesterday saying, "Hop, hop, hop...." So Arwen followed him saying something like, " 'Op, 'op, 'op...."
We ask her where her hands, head, hair, feet, shoes, tum tum and belly button are. She knows them all. She raises up her shirt and sucks in her belly to show us her button.
Savannah got a Cabbage Patch doll for her birthday. We've caught Arwen playing with the doll's outty.
Yesterday I sat on our couch in the play room. It is the shorter of our two couches. I looked beside me, and there was Arwen sitting up so pretty right beside me. She grinned at her new accomplishment. She's on the couch right now, looking out the big picture window at her brother and sister getting soaked.
I heard "ah, oh" today out of her. She was repeating it after me. We had a long and mildly interesting wait at the Honda dealership. It really drags on with Seth's opening doors to offices and Arwen's running down the hall, looking over her shoulder at me to see if I'm following.
A few nights ago at bedtime, she added "night, night" to her list of words. I would like to teach her Savannah and Seffie next.
