Sensitive girl

Arwen is sensitive in a way that Savannah and Seth are not. She is jumpy, like me. She does not have the stomach for being tossed about in the air, which made Savannah and Seth squeal and giggle.

A couple of times, I've tucked the other two in their beds. Arwen and I go to the tv room to kick back. When she heard the loud rattle of Daddy's keys in the lock, she jumped and ran to me. She started to cry.

More than just seeing this jumpiness in her personality, I think it's interesting that she knew Savannah and Seth were in the bed. Who else would make a noise out of nowhere? I thought it showed intelligence. Just last night I sat with Seth and Arwen in his floor. Savannah was in her room getting ready for bed, or so we thought. She made a racket, a lot closer to Seth's door than we would've thought. Again, she didn't expect it and ran to me, a little upset. It had actually made me uneasy too. I wondered if she picked up on something I was feeling.

Related to that I think, when Seth or Savannah get too close with their lunging and growling, Arwen will put her arms up and duck a bit. I do the same thing. She and I both get hurt some. We have learned to get out of the way.
