After praising Arwen yesterday for standing on her own, she does it now to be proud of herself. We were in the floor this morning with Seth and she was very happy with herself for letting go 3 times.

Arwen has been pointing the remote at the television. She just walked up to the tv now, pointing it and pushing buttons. The real challenge ahead is figuring out which remote does what. That's at least a 4 year old's technology. Now she has moved on to the telephone, and trashing the junk mail.

She is good at trying new foods, eating well, and plumping up a little.

And one of the cutest things she does is smack kisses at the right times. I've heard kissy noises when we say "night, night" to Savannah or Seth or when we are tucking them in and say "I love you," she puckers up and smacks.

She is easily amused, especially by Daddy, who will barely indicate he's going to chase or tickle her and she's in a frantic squeal to get away. Mama also gets a toned down version of this.

Other than responding to the words "Kiss kiss" with little smacks to us, she is now running a brush "through" her hair. She mostly bumps herself in the head, but she's watching us.
