Through the night
Her fourth tooth is inching its way down. She doesn't seem to mind. She slept through the night twice in the last several days. It's such a milestone for most parents. I've been asked many times, "How does he/she sleep for you?" I read the articles and literature on the subject when Savannah was tiny. They really got my hopes up. But nobody said how much they would still wake up at night, even Savannah at 5. Once you know you're in it for the long haul with your third one, waking up at night is not so overwhelming. Yet when I wake up and I have slept through the night, I feel something close to joy.
